Brian Williams

Brian Williams, SVP, Market Manager, Community Development Banking, Northern and Central Ohio, PNC Bank

Brian Williams was named Community Development Banking market manager for PNC Bank in Northern and Central Ohio in October 2021. In his role, Brian manages a team to improve the quality of life for low- and moderate-income families and individuals. PNC’s Community Development Banking strives to enable economic empowerment through lending, strategic investments, project financing and Community Reinvestment Act services.

Prior to his current role, Williams served as the executive director of the PNC Fairfax Connection, a community resource center located in Cleveland’s Fairfax neighborhood that provides free services designed to empower residents and businesses. Additionally, Williams served as co-chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Council for PNC’s Cleveland Market.

Williams, a 25-year veteran of the banking and financial services industry, began his PNC career in 2009 and as Banking Center manager for a PNC Bank branch. Under his leadership, the branch won numerous awards and achieved high standards in customer loyalty, customer service and employee engagement.

Active in the community, Williams is the senior pastor at Water Church in Akron, Ohio. He also serves on the board of directors for Land Studio, Cleveland Ohio and the YMCA of Greater Cleveland.

Williams holds a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University in political science and a master’s in business administration from Kent State University.

Williams, his wife, Cynthia, and daughter, reside in the Village of Walton Hills near Cleveland, Ohio.
